The diversity of institutions and programs of higher education available in the United States is amazing. For international students, selecting the specific program of study or the type of institution can be a very confusing process. Junior Colleges and Community Colleges offer you an Associate Degree upon completion of the requirements. Bachelors Degrees are available from four year programs. Graduate Programs focus on post graduate education leading to a Masters Degree or a doctoral degree. Certificates or Diplomas can be earned through Summer Programs and English Language Institutes/ESL programs.
